Design Features

Located on the south side of campus, near an existing dormitory, the new residence hall will provide additional dining options, laundry facilities, fitness room, study rooms, computer lab, gaming area, convenience store, and a 200-person event space. This building will also house the campus housing administrative offices, as well as this residence hall’s housing office. A mix of pod double, pod single, RA single, 2-bedroom double semi suite, and apartment style residential rooms provides many opportunities for student interaction. Several apartment style rooms for faculty and visiting professors are also included. Situated on a sloped site, the building takes advantage of the landscape and provides outdoor areas for on campus student activities. Along with the residence hall, an additional surface parking lot will be built to accommodate increased traffic. Serving as Architect of Record, Moody Nolan is teamed with Mackey Mitchell on this new residence hall.
