Civic and Community
Civic design is an act of responsibility.
Civic and community spaces play a pivotal role in advancing our society, holding the power to activate the communal sphere, uniting individuals through a common purpose.
We design civic and community spaces that reflect the full range of people they serve. When a community has been overlooked or displaced, a civic building can do more than provide services. These spaces become a catalyst to stabilize identity, anchor neighborhood memory, and make visible what has often been ignored. By centering community voices early in the process and holding their perspective through every decision, the result is a place communities can claim as their own.
