Wallace Health Sciences Complex
Project Description
The new John B. Wallace Health Sciences Complex-South helps to consolidate and expand Volunteer State’s Allied Health Program which was previously spread across their main campus in Gallatin, Tennessee as well as a medical lab at St. Thomas Medical Center in Nashville. Collaborating with Street Dixon Rick, Moody Nolan delivered a design that will provide adequate space for the growing department and educate students enrolled in Emergency Medical Services, Ophthalmic Technician Lab and Classrooms, Sleep Lab Training, Medical Lab Technology and Diagnostic Medical Sonography programs. Sitting immediately adjacent and connected to the Wallace Health Science Complex-North, the facility will house classroom and instructional areas, specialized labs, conference rooms, faculty offices and a computer lab for independent study and group testing.
