A vibrant housing redevelopment plan, designed to uplift the community.
Located in the Near East Side of Columbus—a low income neighborhood—the units are designed to complement the diverse and rich architecture of the surrounding neighborhood, while contributing to the revitalization of the community.
After receiving a $30 million grant, the multifamily development initiative created 335 units in townhome, garden and mixed-use buildings. The development is designed and constructed in accordance with Enterprise Green Communities criteria and universal design strategies, prioritizing human flourishing.
Community-Centered Design
Designed with community input, amenities include a community space, fitness center, playgrounds, bike paths, computer stations, and three live-work apartments for local entrepreneurs. A new intergenerational center provides community programming for young children and seniors alike.
