A healing environment for collaborative care.

The 48-bed inpatient tower and ambulatory expansion creates a new and enhanced patient-focused healthcare environment, prioritizing the wellbeing of patients and caregivers alike.

As a separate, free standing medical office building, the Ambulatory and Cancer Care Center will allow for the consolidation of all outpatient services previously spread throughout the hospital. The building includes specialty care clinics, blood draw, radiation oncology, medical oncology, occupational health, and community wellness center.

Instead of traversing to various locations, patients now travel within the open and connected space with views onto surrounding healing gardens.

Collaborative Care

Collaboration is at the forefront of the design, with team spaces on each unit for the physicians and nurses to discuss cases in a focused space. steps from the exam or infusion rooms. Clinical staff at Memorial want their patients to feel like they have a collaborative and supportive team, right outside their door.

Eight infusion bays were designed to provide patients close connections to care givers and allow ample space for a companion to sit nearby for support.
