Tim believes healthcare is a community-based service that emboldens individuals and neighborhoods to pursue a higher quality of living. He knows that good design influences human emotion and provides a sense of wellbeing and safety.

As Partner and Healthcare Practice Leader, Tim holds dear the opportunity to design for communities in need. He is driven by the desire to advance health equity and reposition the way healthcare facilities are viewed. For Tim, healthcare is a holistic and all encompassing journey. He uses designed and natural elements to create comforting and inviting environments that eliminate the feelings of isolation and anxiety that often accompany the patient experience.  He is an advocate for the accessibility of space, and believes in the transformational power of a neighborhood in harmony. His dream is that healthcare facilities would be spaces that illuminate togetherness, joy, possibilities, and prosperity–a vision he helps bring to life in every project.

Tim is a Fellow of the American Institute of Architects and a member of the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards. He has more than 30 years experience in the field and holds a Bachelor of Architecture degree from The Ohio State University.
