Interior Office Build-Out
Moody Nolan designed the 270,000 sq. ft. interior build-out for the anchor tenants, NiSource and Columbia Gas of Ohio, located at 240/290 West Nationwide Boulevard. The scope of work included programming, schematic design, interior design, environmental graphic design, as well as FF&E.
There are four main design goals: sustainability initiatives with access to natural light, flexible space planning, and ergonomic furniture solutions. Sustainability is at the forefront of all design decisions, from the mechanical systems to the materials selected. An open floor plan with centralized support spaces and offices, as well as low height workstations, maximizes access to natural light. Standardized room sizes will allow for ease of future change of personnel, as rooms can easily shift from conference to office space as needed. Ergonomics is also a main criteria required during the FF&E process development.
