Students, faculty, administration, and community members, participated in the design process to share ideas and collect data, imperative to the development and implementation of the new library learning center. The library provides an array of resources for upper-level, graduate and professional researchers.
First year students will receive a range of dedicated academic services to bolster their first-year curriculum. Library patrons will have high-tech access to materials and more efficient methods for data collection.
Both inside and out, the building expresses collegial pride for the historic institution. The location of the building is a prominent gateway to campus, with views down Tiger Walk. Once inside, a gallery houses extremely rare historical documents, cultural art and artifacts, while also serving as an event space.
