DePaul’s College Prep groundbreaking campus master plan revolutionizes how the high school educates its students through its STEAM—Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics Learning programs.
The renovation and expansion allows these programs, and the students involved, to flourish in a safer, more innovative, and inspiring environment.
Prioritizing Wellbeing
The new academic wing houses creative learning spaces like flexible classrooms, computer labs and technologically advanced focus areas. Mental and physical wellbeing of is a part of DePaul’s commitment to their students and has been incorporated through student support and counseling spaces.
Physical wellbeing is incorporated through the addition of an athletic annex which houses a three-court gymnasium and natatorium, complete with training rooms and coaching staff offices. An outdoor terrace and a rooftop urban garden round out the institution’s salubrious amenities. With this project, the Catholic institution strives to develop intellectually, personally, and culturally astute students.
Celebrating a Culture of Achievement
The highly branded interior reinforces the strong culture of academics and rich traditions of the school. Bold colors are used with restraint to highlight feature ceilings and enhance wayfinding.
