Kathryn is a visionary architect with more than four decades of experience in the field. As Operations Strategist, Kathryn leverages her operational and strategic expertise to support firmwide growth initiatives. With over four decades of experience delivering complex, sustainable, high-performance, award-winning projects for private, federal, and defense clients, in this role, she continues to lead development of the firm’s Federal Market.

Highly accomplished and esteemed in her field, Kathryn has led award-winning projects of varying complexity for federal, private, and defense clients, demonstrating her expertise in design, engineering, and project management. Her impressive portfolio includes work on the National Operations Center, the Pentagon, and the Level IV Department of Homeland Security US Customs and Immigration Services Headquarters, among others. She is a distinguished Fellow of the AIA, a member of the National Organization of Minority Architects (NOMA), and the Society of Building Science Educators (SBSE).

Kathryn is an educator of architecture, engineering, and sustainable design who leads by fostering learning and empowerment, and has taught as an adjunct professor at Howard University and Virginia Polytechnic & State University’s Washington-Alexandria Architecture Center.
