Jon believes design has the power to bring people together. His enthusiasm for discovering the nuance of culture and learning new landscapes drives his ability to increase equity and create opportunity in underserved communities.

As Principal and Design Leader, Jon and is captivated by the satisfaction of putting pencil to paper within his work. The joy he finds in diving into research and physically creating designs translates into his hands-on approach across the board. Jon draws inspiration from his time traveling and studying abroad at the Architectural Association of London, where he was exposed to the design culture of Europe and the UK. His leadership is deeply rooted in empowering others and fostering passion within his team. Jon is highly engaged in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) and enjoys mentoring young and underserved students. With his teammates, he has participated in or created several “pipeline” programs to help HBCU students with their portfolios and to find jobs.

A respected designer, Jon’s projects have won more than 50 design awards throughout the United States. Jon holds a Master in Architecture degree from The Ohio State University, where he has taught, sat on a number of juries, and been published in a variety of publications.
