Announcing Legacy Project to Serve Families in Need

MISSION

After years of contributing our time and energy to any number of community programs (pro bono work, specialty events, outings, dinners, etc.) it became evident that most of these programs, though well intentioned, do very little for those who need our help the most. In 2018, we decided it was high time that we devote much more of our time and resources to addressing the plight of the least advantaged in our community and, in so doing, provide direct and meaningful service to those who have been underserved for far too long.

Therefore, we have created the Moody Nolan Legacy Project and will make a substantial financial contribution including our design and oversight skills to design and construct a new, freestanding residence as a gift to a financially struggling or homeless family. Moody Nolan has teamed up with CMHA, who is donating the land for the home, and Southeast Healthcare Services and YMCA of Central Ohio will be helping to choose the family to live in the Legacy House.

Planned as an annual gift, Moody Nolan will design and oversee the construction of a home in all 12 the communities where the firm has offices starting with Columbus, Ohio.

DESIGN CONCEPT

The Legacy Project House will be approximately 750 square feet with three bedrooms, a kitchen, two baths and a family room. An extended outdoor living area and garden will be featured to maximize the entire building site and encourage outdoor activity. The home will be 100% move-in ready by late February.

HOW CAN YOU HELP?
