A Special Message From Our CEO

Last December, we received the 2021 AIA Architecture Firm Award—what a year it has been! This honor forever shapes the legacy of our firm and the profession, placing diversity as the precursor to transformational design.

Marked by expansive growth and opportunity, 2021 was a significant year for Moody Nolan. We exceeded our own expectations, pushing the design conversation to new places while delivering exceptional work. Our projects continue to model high performance design, earning more than 30 awards since 2020. We opened a 12th location to expand our geographic reach and add diverse talent to our staff weekly.

But more important than any accolade or growth, is our commitment to diversity and inclusion. We are driven by the belief that there is enough room at the table for everyone. And while much progress has been made, the work still lies ahead of us. Diversifying the profession and advocating for equitable design is the thread that connects the clients we serve, the talent we retain and the communities we uplift.

The new year will start another momentous season for Moody Nolan, as we celebrate our 40th anniversary in March. This milestone is a testament to the tireless effort of my dad, Curt Moody, and the belief that design can inspire positive social change. The firm we are today— that started with two people and a dream—is more than we could have hoped for. This dream is made possible because of you— our clients, partners and extraordinary staff— thank you.

As we close one chapter and begin the next, we plan to wrap up 2021 the same way we entered it— with gratitude.
