Our Story

We believe great design happens at the intersection of innovative ideas and divergent points of view.

For more than 40 years, we’ve challenged the status quo—pushing the boundaries of design to generate positive social change.

Continuing the Legacy

In 2020, Jonathan Moody was named CEO, catalyzing the next era of design innovation. In 2021, the American Institute of Architects bestowed Moody Nolan with the AIA Architecture Award—the first African American owned firm to receive this honor.

With more than 350 employees in 12 locations around the country, we use the built environment to catalyze social change and improve lives.
