Design Features

Located on Euclid Avenue in Cleveland, the center is immediately adjacent to public transit, sitting as a gateway/anchor building to the emerging MidTown mixed-use district. Emphasis on community, visibility and safety was integral to design. University Hospital worked with local transit authorities to facilitate a new bus stop, embraced by the entry of the facility. The center prominently sits on the new Health-Tech corridor, a destination for healthcare and innovation, and is highly accessible to Cleveland’s downtown and near-east suburbs. Moody Nolan provided comprehensive design and construction administration services for this new flagship outpatient facility.

With University Hospitals commitment to serving a broad spectrum of patient needs, the facility features a full pediatric suite on the first floor with a women’s suite on the second floor. Additionally, the center incorporates group workrooms for education and outreach, a dental clinic, vision clinic and small pharmacy. The building design seeks to enhance an adopted team-based care delivery model: a revolutionary method of care-taking which improves patient outcomes through an economized caregiver workflow. This project achieved LEED Platinum certification.
