    Nashville International Airport (BNA) is one of the fastest-growing airports in North America with more than 7.1 billion in economic regional impact. As the architect, Moody Nolan helped realize the vision of a New Terminal Garage and Airport Administration Building. The building is constructed on the site of a former short-term garage and consists of approximately 3,300 parking spaces on six levels that are accessed by a double helix ramp.

    Located in Dallas County, Parkland is one of the largest public hospitals in the country, with 865 inpatient beds and over one million outpatient visits per year. As part of their new $1.2 billion campus expansion, Parkland selected Moody Nolan as the Design Architect, along with Architect of Record, VAI, for a new 245,000 sq. ft. outpatient clinic.

    Located on the edge of campus, this new student recreation and wellness center serves as a high-profile gateway facility while aligning with the contextual style of the existing campus. The center houses a two-court multipurpose gym, fitness and strength training areas, aerobic/dance studios, suspended walking/jogging track and a student health center. Oriented to maximize views of an on-site lake, the facility is part of a larger site development that includes sand volleyball courts, a recreation pool and spa and walking/jogging trails.

    Moody Nolan worked with local architect, Atkins, to add 90,000 sq. ft. to an existing swimming/fitness center creating a state-of-the-art recreation center. Located on a tight desert mountain site, the design of this facility reflects the campus’ Bhutanese style of architecture. Inside, the center includes a large multi-purpose gymnasium, instructional space with multipurpose rooms, indoor jogging track, expanded locker and dressing facilities, instructional space and administrative offices.

    Uniquely situated adjacent to existing outdoor practice fields and the newly expanded Athletic Performance Center of offices and locker support spaces, this field house is an expansion of the existing Student Recreation Center, allowing an innovative sharing of athletic and student recreation facilities that is a hallmark of the Vanderbilt University program. A new shared lobby allows support of field house special events and recreation functions, and shared multi-purpose rooms and spectator seating overlooking the indoor field support not only track events, but offer unique athletic recruiting and donor or media event spaces with a club-like feel.
