    With a graduation seating capacity of nearly 6,000, the University will be able to continue its long-held tradition of allowing every graduating student the privilege of bringing their whole family to the celebration. As many of the students are first generation college graduates, this tradition is an emotional one that brings a feeling of pride as the University brings the ceremony back to campus.

    The Friedman Wrestling Center, completed in 2002, is the nation’s only stand-alone facility devoted entirely to collegiate wrestling. Cornell’s wrestling program has won 16 consecutive Ivy League titles and graduated six national champions since 2010. Named for alumnus Stephen Friedman and Trustee Barbara Benioff Friedman, the 16,000 gross sq. ft. building features a 900-seat arena, a student lounge, and locker/training rooms.

    As the only MLS facility to convert a soccer-specific stadium into a larger training complex, the facility includes three full-size lighted and hydronically heated soccer fields as well as breakout training areas. The team’s players and Crew Academy players (ages 12 to 19) are housed in the multilevel building abutting the fields.
