The transformation of the Navy Yard into a riverside office park over the last two decades has been miraculous. The shipyard, which at its peak employed 40,000 people, closed in 1996 with an uncertain future for the 1,200 acre site.
The team proposes to construct a five-story podium structure that includes a new, 50,000 sq. ft. facility for the Atlanta First Day School, approximately 4,000 square feet of neighborhood-serving retail space right at the corner of Ivan Allan and West Peachtree Street, approximately 350 parking spaces, a compact and accessible pick-up and drop-off area for the Day School, and a rooftop amenity deck that can serve the school’s children, residents of the new housing, and church functions year-round.

Moody Nolan is working with the developers, Daimler Group and Flaherty & Collins, on the next phase of the development at the Scioto Peninsula along Broad Street in Columbus.
The approximately 585,000 sq. ft. newly constructed development will create an iconic visual accent at the southern end of the existing Greenway and a signature visual “moment” appropriate to the view of commuters and visitors arriving in Boston.
