University of Texas at El Paso
Student Recreation Center
Project Description
Moody Nolan worked with local architect, Atkins, to add 90,000 sq. ft. to an existing swimming/fitness center creating a state-of-the-art recreation center. Located on a tight desert mountain site, the design of this facility reflects the campus’ Bhutanese style of architecture. Inside, the center includes a large multi-purpose gymnasium, instructional space with multipurpose rooms, indoor jogging track, expanded locker and dressing facilities, instructional space and administrative offices.
