Design Features
This is a highly complex project that is currently under a fast-track construction schedule. The facility includes public spaces, meeting rooms, formal event spaces, as well as food and beverage spaces associated with large convention spaces. The South Boston Waterfront District directly opposite the BCEC is an iconic project site with complexities and high visibility and anticipated usage.
The West Tower of the hotel features luxury rooms and suites, while the East Tower of the hotel features innovative boutique concepts. Upon completion, the hotel will have the largest hotel ballroom in Boston and feature two signature restaurants on the first floor. Hotel amenities include a rooftop pool and a terrace bar affording prime views of the BCEC as well as views throughout the Seaport. This facility incorporates retail and pedestrian friendly hotel amenities on three sides of the building allowing easy street level access.
Moody Nolan has worked to proactively solve any design/construction issues to continue forward movement on the fast project with ambitious aesthetic goals.
