Design Features

Each area of the school is being designed for flexibility and to encourage students to think about real-world topics creatively and critically. The school is planned to include a large auditorium that can be configured into smaller multipurpose spaces. The Educational classrooms or “Academic Neighborhoods” are designed to support each of the four CTE’s, which will help collaboration with industry leading companies, organizations, and the development of future relationships with the University of Houston and Texas Southern University, located directly to the east and west. This project is being planned to attain LEED Silver.

The second phase of the project will include additional ancillary site elements such as parking and practice fields. The completion date for Phase 2 is currently unknown at this time.
