Project Description
Moody Nolan is the Architect-of-Record working with Design Architect, Pelli Clarke Pelli Architects. The new Interdisciplinary Research Facility (IRF) will support the University’s biomedical, environmental sciences, veterinary medicine, life sciences and engineering programs.

Design Features
The project will be approximately 300,000 sq. ft. and located on The Ohio State University’s West Campus in Columbus, Ohio. The site is bounded by West Lane Avenue to the north and Kenny Road to the east.
The building program will include wet bench and computational labs, a lecture hall, vivarium, core labs, faculty offices and collaboration space. The typical lab floor on levels two-five consists of three 10-PI wet bench neighborhoods and one 10-PI computational neighborhood. Other facility amenities will include a research lounge, loading dock and main lobby.
