Columbus Clippers

Huntington Park

Project Description

Home to the Columbus Clippers, the International League affiliate of the Cleveland Indians, this premier ballpark was designed by 360 Architecture with Moody Nolan as associate architect. Rated “Best New Ballpark of the Year” in 2009, Huntington Park
provides the ultimate baseball experience with an amazing level of intimacy in a venue that seats 10,000 persons. One unique feature is a sunken playing field that allows sidewalk fans to watch the game from outside the ballpark through openings in the outfield wall. Also adding to the unique character of the ballpark is a left field building, the AEP Pavilion, with a second-floor bar and roof top seating reminiscent of the buildings surrounding Wrigley Field. Seating of various sorts is offered around the ballpark to suit any fan’s preference, even including a children’s area with wading fountains.
