Design Features

Moody Nolan is designing this five-story parking garage located across the street from the new Columbus Crew stadium, and forms the southeastern edge of a residential block and overlooks a residential courtyard in the Astor Park development. The garage structure consists of a glazed aluminum curtain wall, perforated aluminum, face brick, aluminum storefront, a bike hub, and a public art mural.

Features include 10 EV charging stations with infrastructure for 40 more, as well as a bike hub off the alley that ties into the City’s bike train system. The project also includes a new roadway for ingress and egress into the garage and is designed to be both a vehicular and pedestrian connection between Columbus Crew Way and Edge of River Avenue. The roadway consists of brick pavers with string lighting hanging between the buildings.

The project is pursuing Parksmart certification.
