360 Peachtree
Project Description
The team proposes to construct a five-story podium structure that includes a new, 50,000 sq. ft. facility for the Atlanta First Day School, approximately 4,000 square feet of neighborhood-serving retail space right at the corner of Ivan Allan and West Peachtree Street, approximately 350 parking spaces, a compact and accessible pick-up and drop-off area for the Day School, and a rooftop amenity deck that can serve the school’s children, residents of the new housing, and church functions year-round.

Design Features
The site takes advantage of the steep drop in grade along Ivan Allan, to see that the parking structure does not visually overwhelm the historic sanctuary building.
The project team anticipates that it will be possible to reuse Building 3 (the outbuilding) for a new, public-facing Midtown Assistance Center with a new public entrance to be created along Ivan Allan Jr. Blvd. While the project team has not assessed the condition and suitability of this building for the anticipated reuse, both NCR and Evergreen have extensive experience with tools such as the Federal and State Historic Tax Credits to assist in project funding, and such a reuse plan can convert a building that is currently a capital drain on the Church’s resources into a renewed asset to serve a primary mission of Atlanta First.
