Observance of Juneteenth

Valued Clients and Partners,

All Moody Nolan offices will be closed this Monday, June 20, in observance of Juneteenth, which commemorates the end of slavery in the U.S.  In 2020, we added Juneteenth as a paid official Moody Nolan holiday, encouraging our staff to pause and reflect on the importance of this historic day.

As part of holiday planning, our teams throughout all of our offices have made the necessary provisions to ensure project deadlines are not impacted as part of our commitment to you. If you have concerns that need addressed prior to Monday, please reach out to your Moody Nolan team today or tomorrow.

On this 157th anniversary of Juneteenth, we encourage everyone to find a way to celebrate—reflect, honor, donate, educate, or just be. You can read Jonathan Moody’s latest words in Architect magazine on the joy and pain of protecting Black heritage in the built environment.
