A Special Message From Our CEO

During a year of unprecedented change and growth for Moody Nolan, it seems most fitting this Thanksgiving to pause in reflective gratitude.

In 2021, we received the AIA Architecture Firm award, forever shaping the legacy of our firm and the profession. Following the award, we embarked on a year of expansive growth and possibility. We secured world-class projects, opened a 12th office and our diverse firm now employs 280 staff nationwide.

While this year proved prosperous in many ways, it is worthwhile to reflect on the hard-fought path that brought us here. I’m grateful to my father, for daring to dream that a Black architect could not only find a seat at the table, but eventually lead the industry by modeling diversity and inclusion. His perseverance in the face of adversity inspires me daily.

I’m grateful to our clients, who trust and enable us to design spaces that uplift, empower and inspire. Thanks to you, we’re able to push the design conversation to new places. I’m grateful to our talented and industry-leading staff—you make the firm what it is today. To every consultant, peer or partner that has worked with Moody Nolan along the way, thank you.

As we enter this season of gratitude and gathering, I am mindful of our collective ability to inspire positive social change. In big and small ways, when we come together, we can encourage and empower one another in the pursuit of what is right.
