Uniquely situated adjacent to existing outdoor practice fields and the newly expanded Athletic Performance Center of offices and locker support spaces, this field house is an expansion of the existing Student Recreation Center, allowing an innovative sharing of athletic and student recreation facilities that is a hallmark of the Vanderbilt University program. A new shared lobby allows support of field house special events and recreation functions, and shared multi-purpose rooms and spectator seating overlooking the indoor field support not only track events, but offer unique athletic recruiting and donor or media event spaces with a club-like feel.

Moody Nolan led the two-phase renovation of the Vanderbilt University football Stadium. The renovation and upgrades included new brick entry gates, new brick and steel picket fencing, concessions building, ticketing building and bookstore. New wrought iron gates, site lighting and seating were also added. Additionally, a landscaped plaza was designed for the new entry gates to the stadium. The entire stadium was painted over the two phases and new signage and graphics designed for concessions and restrooms. Photographic graphics were installed throughout the concourse. These lighted images display University atheletes’ images all year. A broadcast truck parking plaza was designed to match the stadium and includes concealed routing of TV cables up to the press box.
