    Moody Nolan, as Associate Architect to Perkins Eastman, teamed to modernized the former Shaw Junior High School to now house Benjamin Banneker Academic High School. The high school houses grade 9 through grade 12 and is one of DCPS’ International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Program sites. With the modernization of the former junior high school, the school can now accommodate an enrollment of 800 students by 2025.

  3. Englewood STEM High School

    Moody Nolan, in collaboration with Design-Build partner Ujamaa-Power Joint Venture, designed and developed this new 160,000 sq. ft. high school located in Chicago’s Englewood community. The new school will help transform the landscape of Chicago’s Southside; envisioned as a modern campus intended to replace an existing, aging high school located on the site.

  4. STEAM and Connected Learning High School

    Starting with a feasibility study led by Moody Nolan, the project consists of a phased renovation of an existing 127,000 sq. ft. college with a brand new athletic wing addition and new exterior play fields.

  5. Jack Yates High School

    For Phase 1, Moody Nolan designed this new senior high school to educate students in four Career and Technical Education Area’s (CTE’s). These include transportation: logistics/maritime, graphic design and production, arts: AV – production and arch/construction, and finally, health science. Specific spaces such as the learning commons/information center storage are being designed to benefit the larger community.
