Located in the Napier and Sudekum community, Legacy House Nashville is currently under design. The design intention of the home focuses on accessibility, equity, and sustainability. The house embodies modern design in a small footprint, designed to reduce energy consumption and provide secure housing for a family at risk of homelessness. Legacy House Nashville will be approximately 800 square feet with three bedrooms, a kitchen, two baths, and two-story living spaces open to a balcony above. Murphy beds in the children’s bedrooms provide flexible space. The roof will accommodate future solar panels to offset electricity costs. The outdoor living area and backyard space provide access to nature while encouraging outdoor activity.
