The new Hilton Columbus Downtown opened its doors less than three months ago and has already made its mark on downtown Columbus. The hotel was named the Best Urban Development of 2012 by Columbus Underground and is also one of New York Magazine’s places to stay in Columbus. Local publications have highlighted the challenges of designing a 500+ room hotel on a single city block as well as the hotel’s art collection that features more than 225 original art pieces and paintings, sculpture and photographs from local artists including Alice Schille, Donald Roberts and Aminah Robinson and many others.
The Hilton Columbus Downtown features 532 guest rooms, including 48 suites, and 31,000 sq. ft. of meeting and pre-function space. A faceted glass skybridge connects the hotel atrium directly to the Greater Columbus Convention Center.
